The KL Bantam Tigers took on the Lanigan Pirates in Round 1 of the Bantam D Provincials. On Jan 26,2020, Lanigan came to Luseland and the Tigers beat them 7-4. On Feb 9, the Tigers went back to Lanigan. With a disappointing turn, the Tigers lost game 2 2-1. This lead to a 10 minute mini game being played where it ended in a 0-0 tie. After the mini game, the Tigers and Pirates headed to a 20 minute sudden death period. This also resulted in 0-0 which lead to a 2 sudden death period. 8 minutes into that period, the Tigers managed to sink the puck into the Pirates net ending the series. The KL team moves on to Round 2.
